What were Sai Baba's views on argumentation, and why did he consider it a spiritual hindrance?

Sai Baba strongly advised against engaging in argumentation and dualistic explanations. In Chapter 2, he states that a mind inclined towards argumentation is filled with ignorance and Maya. He believed such a disposition lacks purity of self-interest and is instead dominated by bad thoughts and false logic. According to Baba, a person who is constantly debating is not fit for self-knowledge and is instead consumed by ignorance, leading to unhappiness in this world and the next. He instructed the author to avoid establishing his own side or refuting another's, viewing such intellectual efforts as useless.
