What were Sai Baba's personal rituals right before he left the Masjid for the Chavadi?

Before setting out for the Chavadi, Sai Baba performed a series of specific, personal actions. According to Chapter 37, after getting ready in His usual kafni and having a golden-bordered shawl placed over Him by Tatya, Baba would approach a bundle of firewood kept against a wall. There, He would move His right big toe for a moment. Following this, He would personally wave His right hand over the burning flame in the Masjid, extinguishing it himself. Only after completing this ritual of putting out the fire would Sai Baba actually begin the procession to the Chavadi.
