What were Sai Baba's personal actions and rituals just before He left the Masjid for the Chavadi?

Before the grand procession to the Chavadi began, Sai Baba performed a series of personal actions. As described in Chapter 37, He would get ready by wearing His kafni and tucking His satka under His arm. After Tatya placed a beautiful shawl over Him, Baba would go to a spot where firewood was kept. There, He would move His right big toe for a moment. Then, in a remarkable act, Sai would personally wave His right hand over the burning flame at that spot, extinguishing it Himself before setting out for the Chavadi. This ritualistic departure marked the beginning of the celebratory procession.
