What were Sai Baba's instructions for writing His life story, and what role did He say the author would play?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 2

Sai Baba gave His full support for a collection of His stories and experiences to be recorded, providing courage to the author's impatient mind. As detailed in Chapter 2, He instructed, "A collection of stories, news, and experiences should indeed be made. Keep a record; it is good. My full help is with it." However, Baba clarified that the author was merely a pretext, stating, "I myself shall write my own story!" The condition for this divine assistance was that the author must dissolve his ego and surrender it at Baba's feet. When the ego is completely dissolved, Baba promised He would enter and write with His own hand, emphasizing that the author was only an instrument.
