What were Maharaj's living conditions and daily activities when he first settled in the area?

Upon his arrival, Maharaj mostly resided in a Masjid that was in a dilapidated condition. As described in Chapter 0, he would wander during the day but would return to the Masjid to stay at night. He maintained a simple life, accepting meals if someone offered and initially dedicating himself to healing. He would dispense medicines for free and personally nurse patients who were not being cared for properly. His life was also marked by interactions with other saints like Devidas and Janakidas, as the location was a common path for pilgrims.
