What were Maharaj's daily activities and practices when he first arrived in the village?

When Maharaj first came to the village, he resided in a dilapidated Masjid, where he would stay at night after moving about during the day. He initially practiced by giving medicine to people, for which he never accepted any money. According to Chapter 0, if he saw that a patient was not being cared for properly, he would personally take over their care. Later, Maharaj stopped giving medicine and instead began giving out only Udi, or sacred ash, which people found beneficial. He would also go for meals if someone invited him.
