What were Gopalrao Gund's interactions with Maharaj and his contributions to the village?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 0

Gopalrao Gund, the Revenue Circle Inspector of Kopargaon, became a devoted follower of Maharaj after being blessed with a son. As detailed in Chapter 0, he initially planned to rebuild the dilapidated Masjid and gathered stones for the project. However, Maharaj did not grant permission for this. Instead, at Maharaj's command, Gopalrao used the collected stones to construct the Shani temple and renovate other temples in the village. It was also Gopalrao Gund who first conceived the idea of holding an annual fair, or Urs, in Maharaj's honor, a proposal he brought to other devotees.
