What were Gopalrao Gund's initial intentions for Shirdi, and how did Maharaj redirect his efforts?

📖 Chapter 0

Gopalrao Gund, the Revenue Circle Inspector of Kopargaon, became a devotee after being blessed with a son by Maharaj. As chapter 0 explains, he noticed the Masjid was dilapidated and decided he should rebuild it, even collecting a large number of stones for the project. However, when he sought permission, Maharaj did not grant it. Instead, Maharaj commanded that the collected stones be used to build the Shani temple and renovate other temples in the village. This demonstrates how Maharaj redirected a devotee's well-intentioned efforts toward a different, divinely-ordained purpose.
