What were Baba's personal preparations and rituals before He would leave the Masjid for the Chavadi?

Before starting the procession, Baba followed a specific routine. According to Chapter 37, He would wear His usual kafni, tuck His satka under His arm, and take His chilim and tobacco. Tatya would then lovingly place a golden-bordered shawl over Him. Baba would then go to a spot where firewood was kept, move His right big toe there for a moment, and then wave His right hand over the burning flame to extinguish it. Only after completing these personal rituals would He set out for the Chavadi.
