What was wrong with Amir Shakkar and what remedy did Sai Baba provide?

Amir Shakkar was suffering from rheumatism and sought a remedy from Sai Baba. As detailed in Chapter 22, Baba's prescribed solution was not a physical medicine but a command: he was to stay in the Chavadi. Despite the Chavadi being a dilapidated and uncomfortable place, this was the instruction given to him. Baba went to the Chavadi every alternate night, and Amir was to reside there steadily. This divine instruction, accepting His word as medicine, was the remedy for Amir's ailment and sorrow.
