What was the typical outcome for skeptics who visited Sai Baba with the firm intention of not showing him reverence?

📖 Chapter 35

The Shri Sai Satcharitra describes a profound transformation that befell skeptics who met Sai Baba. Chapter 35 explains that even those who were very firm in their resolve not to bow or offer Dakshina would ultimately have their intentions crumble. Through the sheer power of his Darshan, or viewing, they would surrender completely. The text poetically states they would forget their previous resolve and bow at his feet, similar to one surrendering with a blade of grass held between their teeth. Instead of leaving, they would remain devoted at Sai's feet, finding a place where their pride could rest and their soul felt extreme happiness.
