What was the story of Damu Shet Kasar's connection to Maharaj, and who encouraged him to seek help?

Damodar Savlaram, also known as Damu Shet Kasar, was deeply saddened because he was childless despite having two wives. As detailed in Chapter 0, he was advised by Ra. Govindrao Sapkar, the father-in-law of Madhavrao Deshpande, to visit Maharaj and receive his blessing. After following this advice, Damu Shet was blessed with a son. This event solidified his faith in Maharaj, and out of gratitude, he made a vow.
