What was the story behind Sai Baba's portrait that was present during Dixit and Madhavrao's meeting?

📖 Chapter 51

The story of Sai Baba's portrait adds another layer to the divine orchestration described in Chapter 51. The photograph, which was ardently worshipped by Baba's disciple Megha, had been sent from Shirdi to Nagar with Balasaheb Mirikar for repairs because its glass had broken. After being repaired, it was kept covered with a cloth in Mirikar’s drawing room, almost as if it were waiting for Dixit's arrival. After Dixit and Madhavrao finalized their travel plans, Balasaheb unveiled the portrait. Because Balasaheb was not returning immediately, he entrusted the sacred portrait to Madhavrao for its journey back to Shirdi.
