What was the story behind Kashiram carrying a bundle of sugar, and what was the outcome of his bravery?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 0

Kashiram carried a bundle of powdered sugar because a saint named Janakidas Baba had advised him to feed sugar to ants. This bundle was very dear to him. As Chapter 0 recounts, when thieves tried to steal this bundle, he fought back fiercely, picking up a dropped sword to defend himself. He killed two of the thieves before being knocked unconscious. For this act of courage, Kashiram was later awarded a sword as a gift from the Bombay government. Although he was severely injured, he survived the encounter due to his faith and Maharaj's protection, eventually recovering in Shirdi.
