What was the spiritual significance of the books Baba had his devotees read, such as the Nath Bhagawat?

📖 Chapter 18

The texts Baba encouraged, particularly the Nath Bhagawat, were considered profoundly sacred and divinely inspired. Chapter 18 explains that this book contains the dialogue between Krishna and Uddhava, which is described as being even better than the dialogue between Krishna and Arjuna in the Bharata. It is called the "loving speech of Nath." The text states that those who perform the reading with faith can attain God instantly, without needing to retreat to a forest. Baba considered this book, along with Jnandeva's Bhavartha Deepika (a commentary on the Gita), to be so important that He made sure they were read daily in Shirdi for the salvation of souls.
