What was the spiritual lesson Maharaj taught Kashiram regarding Dakshina, and how was it delivered?

Maharaj taught Kashiram a profound lesson about the pride that can accompany giving. Chapter 0 explains that Kashiram felt deep satisfaction and even pride in giving Dakshina, to the point of crying if Maharaj refused it. To remove this spiritual obstacle, Maharaj began demanding Dakshina from him relentlessly. This continued even after Kashiram's funds were depleted, forcing him to borrow money until he could no longer do so. This entire Leela, or divine play, was designed to make Kashiram realize he did not truly possess the power to give, thereby removing his pride and allowing his spiritual progress to resume.
