On the third day, the events unfolded through Baba's direct intervention. As described in Chapter 28, a devotee approached Baba in the masjid to ask what food offering (naivedya) to bring. Baba specifically ordered, "Bring me a plate full of khaja; then do the arati-puja." After the afternoon arati was completed, Baba announced to all the devotees that he felt like having khaja prasad. This prompted devotees to go and bring two bowls filled with khaja. Subsequently, during the meal, the khaja was served, and Laxmichand, who was very hungry, finally received the sweet he had been craving, filling his heart with joy.
