What was the special vow Balasaheb Deo made regarding the Dnyaneshwari?

After becoming distressed by his repeated failures to read the Dnyaneshwari, Balasaheb Deo made a very specific and firm resolution. As described in Chapter 41, he decided to completely stop trying to read the text on his own. He made a vow that he would only begin reading the Dnyaneshwari again when Sai Baba himself gave him a direct order and instilled in him the love and inspiration to do so. He placed his faith entirely at Sai's feet, resolving to wait for a clear sign from his Guru before proceeding.
