What was the significance of the Chavadi in Sai Baba's daily routine?

The Chavadi held a important place in Sai Baba's life, as he established a strict, continuous routine involving it. As detailed in Chapter 37, Baba would sleep at the Chavadi every other day by rule. He would spend one night in the Masjid, and the subsequent night would be spent at the Chavadi. This alternating sequence was followed consistently until His Samadhi. Furthermore, the Chavadi evolved into a key location for worship and devotion, especially after December 10th, 1910, when formal worship, bhajan, and adoration of Sai began there.
