What was the role and appearance of the horse named Shyamakarna in the Chavadi procession?

📖 Chapter 37

The horse Shyamakarna played a prominent and resplendent role in Sai Baba's Chavadi procession. As detailed in Chapter 37, this copper-colored horse was fully adorned with all ornaments and stood decorated at the courtyard gate of the Masjid before the procession began. During the procession itself, Shyamakarna led the way at the very front. The jingling of bells on his feet added to the festive sounds of the event. His decorated presence at the head of the procession, even before the mace-bearer and other devotees, signifies his special status and the grandeur of the occasion.
