What was the reaction of the women who helped Baba grind the wheat, and why did they become upset?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 1

As recounted in Chapter 1, when four women saw Baba grinding wheat, they rushed to help, snatching the handle from him and singing his praises. However, their minds were soon filled with greedy thoughts. They speculated about what Baba, who lived alone on alms, would do with so much flour. They began 'building castles in the air,' assuming he would divide the flour among them. When the grinding was done and they prepared to divide the flour into four parts, Baba scolded them, asking if they had gone mad and were trying to take their 'father's property.' He ordered them to throw the flour on the village boundary. The women were 'very upset' and 'humiliated because of their greed,' realizing their selfish intentions had been exposed.
