What was the procedure for distributing the food after it was cooked in the Handi?

Once the food in the Handi was fully cooked, Baba followed a specific procedure for its distribution. As described in chapter 38, he would first test the food properly before taking it down from the hearth and bringing it into the Masjid. A formal consecration prayer, the 'Fatya,' would be offered by a Maulvi. Following this, the first portions of the 'Prasad' (blessed food) were sent to Mhalasapati and Tatya. Afterwards, Baba would personally serve all the remaining food to the poor and the weak. He found joy in satisfying the hungry, often insisting with affection, saying 'take, take,' ensuring everyone ate to their full satisfaction.
