What was the procedure for distributing the food after Baba finished cooking in the Handi?

Once the food in the Handi was cooked and properly tested, Sai Baba would follow a specific procedure for its distribution, as described in Chapter 38. He would bring the Handi from the hearth into the Masjid. The first step was to have the "Fatya," or consecration prayer, formally offered by a Maulvi. Following this, Baba would first send portions of the blessed food, or "Prasad," to Mhalasapati and Tatya. After that, Baba would personally serve all the remaining food with His own hands, finding joy and contentment in satisfying the poor and the hungry. He would affectionately encourage them to eat their fill, saying "take, take."
