What was the original vision for the building that we now know as the Samadhi Mandir?

πŸ“– Chapter 39

The original plan for the building, conceived by Bapusaheb Buti, was to construct a temple and mansion, also known as the Buti Wada. As described in Chapter 39, the intention was to create a central courtyard with a throne where an idol of Murlidhar would be installed. Bapusaheb envisioned that Murlidhar sitting there would look magnificent. This plan was presented to Sai Baba by Shama, and Baba joyfully gave his permission, even indicating he would come and stay there himself once it was complete. The initial purpose was therefore a traditional temple for a deity, not a samadhi.
