The Buti Wada was originally intended by Bapusaheb Buti to be a temple for Murlidhar (Krishna). Bapusaheb's plan was to break the side walls of the central hall and install an idol of Murlidhar on a throne. After receiving Sai Baba's joyful permission, work began. However, as Chapter 39 recounts, Baba fell seriously ill, and his final words were a command: "Place me in the mansion." Following this instruction, Baba's holy body was placed in the inner sanctum that had been prepared for Murlidhar, thus transforming the mansion into the sacred Samadhi Mandir and fulfilling a profound destiny.
What was the original purpose of the Buti Wada, and how did it become the Samadhi Mandir?
