📖 Chapter 37

The Chavadi procession was a vibrant and joyous musical celebration. As detailed in Chapter 37, a wide array of musical instruments began to play as soon as Sai Baba started to leave the Masjid. These included horns, trumpets, 'Tas' and 'Jhanj', cymbals, mridanga, and veena. Devotees, filled with joy, would perform bhajan, chanting Sai's name and Hari's name in unison. Some would dance and jump while carrying banners and flags, including one with a 'Garuda-tak' or image of Garuda.
