The 'Miracle of the Lamps' is a significant event detailed in Chapter 5. Sai Baba had a great fondness for lighting lamps and would celebrate the festival of lights. To do this, he would personally go to the local shopkeepers to beg for oil, which he used to light lamps in both the temple and the mosque. This continued for some days, but the grocers grew tired of providing free oil and conspired to refuse him. When Baba came to ask for oil as per his daily routine, they all said no, setting the stage for the miracle.
