What was the long-term result of Balabuva Satarkar's successful kirtan performance in Shirdi?

Balabuva Satarkar's well-received performance had a lasting impact on the celebrations in Shirdi. Chapter 6 recounts that sometime after his visit, the devotee Dasganu came to Shirdi and prayed to Sai Baba to have the Ram Navami festival formally established as an annual event there. Baba granted this prayer. From that point forward, the birth festival began to be celebrated in Shirdi with great pomp and circumstance. The festivities included a large feast for everyone, and the area around the Samadhi's main gate would be crowded with joyous people, with the air filled with auspicious music and the chanting of Sai's name.
