What was the long-term consequence of Balabuva Satarkar's successful Ram Navami performance in Shirdi?

While Balabuva Satarkar's performance was a great personal success for which he was handsomely rewarded, its lasting impact was far greater. His novel and heartfelt performance greatly pleased Sai Baba and all the devotees. According to Chapter 6, sometime after this event, another devotee, Dasganu, prayed to Baba and had the annual festival formally established in Shirdi. From that point on, the Ram Navami birth festival began to be celebrated with great pomp and ceremony every year, including a feast for all. This tradition, which continues to this day, was institutionalized as a direct result of the success of Balabuva's visit.
