What was the 'Kala' prepared by Sai Baba, and what was the significance of receiving and eating it?

📖 Chapter 38

The "Kala" was a special mixture of various food items that devotees offered to Sai Baba. As described in Chapter 38, Baba would take diverse dishes like Vade, Apupa, Sanjorya, Puri, vegetables, and kheers, and mix them all together in a large plate with His own hands. This mixture, enriched with ghee, bread (poli), and lentils (varann), was then offered to God before being served. The significance of receiving this "Kala" was immense; it was believed that one needed great fortune to obtain a morsel from Baba's hand. Eating it was said to purify the person inside and out, making their life successful and leaving them "forever satiated with contentment."
