What was the initial belief of the author of Shri Sai Satcharita regarding Gurus, and what changed his mind?

📖 Chapter 0

The author, Annasaheb, initially had a very negative view of spiritual guides. According to Chapter 0, he had no Guru devotion and believed the practice of making a Guru was a fraud, taking great pride in his own abilities. However, this perspective was completely shattered the moment his eyes met Baba's. An internal spiritual witness was voiced, his pride was broken, and he became fully convinced that a Sadguru is absolutely necessary to cross the ocean of life. The Shri Sai Satcharita itself is considered the fruit of Baba's grace that fell upon him after this transformation.
