What was the established custom in Shirdi regarding travel or undertaking any important work during Baba's time?

📖 Chapter 33

According to Chapter 33, there was a very firm custom and belief among the devotees in Shirdi. Before undertaking any journey or significant activity—be it for business, a wedding, a sacred thread ceremony, or any other purpose—no one would proceed without first seeking Sai Baba's permission. It was essential to receive his approval, Udi-Prasad, and blessings. The devotees held a strong conviction, as mentioned in Chapter 33, that without Baba's complete permission, their work would not be completed successfully or without obstacles. This practice is illustrated when Ramgir Buwa comes to ask for leave to go to his village.
