According to Chapter 51, Madhavrao received an urgent telegram from his father-in-law in Nagar, claiming his mother-in-law was severely ill. After getting Baba's permission, Madhavrao rushed to Nagar. Just as he arrived, Nanasahib Panshe and Appasahib Gadre happened to be passing by and recognized him as "the priest of Shirdi." They immediately informed him that Dixit Kaka was at Mirikar’s house, desperate to go to Shirdi, and sent him to meet Dixit.
