What was the chain of communication that cleared up the misunderstanding about Baba's attendance at Dev's ceremony?

The misunderstanding was resolved through a series of letters involving Dev, Jog, and Sai Baba. As described in Chapter 40, a doubtful and disappointed Dev first wrote a letter to Jog, complaining that Baba had broken his promise to attend the Udyapan. Jog then took this letter and presented the account at Sai's feet. In response, Baba explained to Jog exactly how he had attended in the form of a Sanyasi with two companions. Finally, Jog, with a very happy mind, sent a detailed letter back to Dev, relaying Baba's explanation. It was only upon reading Jog's letter that Dev understood the truth and felt immense remorse for doubting Sai.
