What was the Buti Wada originally supposed to be used for before it became Sai Baba's tomb?

The building that ultimately became the Samadhi Mandir was originally planned by Bapusaheb Buti as a temple and mansion. As described in Chapter 39, the intention was to build a central courtyard with a throne for an idol of Murlidhar. When this plan was presented to Sai Baba, he joyfully gave his permission and even stated his own intention to stay there once it was complete. The initial construction, including the inner sanctum and a platform for the deity, proceeded with this purpose in mind. The structure's destiny changed only after Baba fell ill and gave his final instructions for his body to be placed there.
