The atmosphere during the Chavadi procession was one of immense joy, festivity, and deep devotion. According to Chapter 37, the air was filled with a symphony of sounds. Musical instruments like horns, trumpets, 'Tas', 'Jhanj', mridangas, and veenas played continuously. Devotees sang bhajans, chanting Sai's name and shouting cries of victory. The sounds of fireworks, such as 'Nale' and 'Chandrajyoti', added to the celebration. Heralds would give shouts, and the jingling bells on the feet of the horse Shyamakarna contributed to the vibrant and blissful auditory experience of the procession.
