What was the atmosphere like at the Masjid on the nights Baba was scheduled to go to the Chavadi?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 37

On the nights of the Chavadi procession, the atmosphere at the Masjid was filled with vibrant devotion and celebration. As described in Chapter 37, a bhajan group would gather and perform in the pavilion until midnight. Devotees, both men and women, would come with cymbals, wooden clappers, mridangas, and other instruments, creating what the text calls a "storm of bhajan." Sai, described as a powerful magnet, would draw these devotees to His feet. The courtyard would be lit with torches, a palanquin decorated, and the horse Shyamakarna would stand ready, adding to the festive scene.
