What was the agreement between Babasaheb Tarkhad and his son before the son left for Shirdi?

📖 Chapter 9

The agreement centered on the continuation of daily worship to Sai Baba. As detailed in Chapter 9, the son was a devout devotee who would not eat without first making a food offering, or Naivedya, to Sai's photograph. He was hesitant to travel to Shirdi because he worried this routine would be broken. He only agreed to go after his father, Babasaheb Tarkhad, made a firm promise. The son requested, "Without offering Naivedya to Sai, no one should consume food at home." His father gave his word, assuring him, "Go, I will offer Naivedya daily; be certain." This assurance was the critical condition that allowed the son to proceed with his journey.
