What was Sai Baba's response when the parents of the suffering child pleaded for his help?

According to Chapter 34 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, when the parents of the child suffering from a bone-cyst came to Sai Baba, they were overcome with emotion. They prostrated at his feet, and with choked voices and pitiful faces, they narrated the child's immense suffering. They explained how they had exhausted all options and felt they had no way out. In response, Sai, described as the embodiment of compassion, reassured them completely. He told them to remain worry-free and gave them his Udi, instructing them to smear it on the wound. He essentially promised them that seeking shelter in the Masjid would never lead to downfall.
