What was Sai Baba's response when Jog told him that Dev felt deceived?

When Jog informed Sai Baba of Dev's letter and feelings of disappointment, Baba was surprised at Dev's lack of recognition. As chapter 40 recounts, Baba explained that he knows the state of a person's mind as soon as their letter is opened before him. He instructed Jog to tell Dev, "You did not recognize Me! Why then did you call Me?" Baba affirmed that he had fulfilled his promise exactly as stated, coming with two others for the meal, even if he did not physically leave Shirdi in a worldly sense.
