What was Sai Baba's prophecy regarding Tatya Patil, and how did it ultimately unfold?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 42

Sai Baba prophesied to a very ill Ramchandra Dada Patil that his own life danger had passed, but that Tatya Patil was fated to 'attain the eternal state' on Vijayadashami in the Shaka year 1840. As Chapter 42 recounts, this prophecy, considered 'etched in stone,' caused great anxiety for those who knew. When the predicted day arrived, Tatya was indeed on his deathbed with a high fever. However, a wonder occurred: Tatya's life-danger passed, and he recovered. In a mysterious exchange, it was Baba himself who left his body at that time, leading followers to believe Baba had sacrificed himself to save Tatya, thus fulfilling the prophecy in an unexpected way.
