What was Sai Baba's practice regarding alms, and what would happen after he ate?

📖 Chapter 0

Sai Baba's practice of seeking alms was very specific and disciplined. According to Chapter 0, after his morning routine, he would go into the village for alms, visiting exactly five places where he would stand at a designated spot. He accepted bread and any side dishes offered. Upon returning to the Masjid, he would eat a small portion of what he had collected. Following his meal, a sitting would take place where many devotees gathered. During these gatherings, Maharaj would impart wisdom through stories and often showed his paternal love by distributing fruits, sometimes peeling and feeding them to the devotees with his own hands.
