What was Sai Baba's perspective on argumentation and debate, and why did he consider it harmful?

Sai Baba strongly advised against engaging in argumentation. As recorded in Chapter 2, he taught that a mind inclined towards argumentation is filled with ignorance and Maya, lacking any purity of self-interest and instead harboring bad thoughts and false logic. He warned that such a person is not fit for self-knowledge and is destined for unhappiness in this life and the next. Baba explicitly instructed his followers, "Do not establish your own side, do not refute the other side, Do not engage in dualistic explanations," viewing such efforts as entirely useless.
