What was Sai Baba's personal role in cooking the food in the Handi?

Sai Baba was deeply and personally involved in every stage of cooking the food in the Handi. As described in Chapter 38, he would personally go to the market to buy all the ingredients, such as vegetables, coconut, and spices, paying in cash. He would then sit in the Masjid and grind wheat, pulses, and millet himself using a grinding stone. Baba performed the main labor tirelessly, including grinding spices with great devotion and managing the fire in the hearth to ensure the food was cooked perfectly.
