What was Sai Baba's long-term vision for the books he collected and why did he entrust them to Shama?

📖 Chapter 27

Sai Baba had a clear long-term vision for the books he collected. As explained in Chapter 27, he knew that Shirdi would become a prominent holy place where his followers would gather for knowledge sessions. He intended for these books to be a lasting resource for them, stating, 'we ourselves will go to our own abode, but the books will remain as images.' He entrusted them to Shama (Madhavrao), an ultimate devotee for whom he had great love, not just for safekeeping. Baba's instruction for Shama to protect the books was also a way to establish a spiritual rule for him, granting him grace and a path of devotion to find peace in his life.
