What was Sai Baba's guidance on the topics of argumentation and ego?

Sai Baba provided clear guidance on ego and argumentation. As detailed in Chapter 2, He stated that one must dissolve their ego and surrender it at His feet. For those who do so, He promised His full assistance and said He Himself would enter them to accomplish the work. Regarding argumentation, Baba warned that it is a sign of ignorance and Maya, filled with bad thoughts and false logic. He advised, "Do not establish your own side, do not refute the other side, Do not engage in dualistic explanations." He taught that a person given to argumentation is not fit for self-knowledge and will only find unhappiness in this world and the next.
