What was Sai Baba's final spiritual practice before he passed away?

According to the account in Chapter 44 of the Shri Sai Satcharitra, Sai Baba undertook a specific spiritual practice in his final days. Knowing his end was near, he arranged to listen to the Ramayana being read by a Brahmin. This was not a casual listening; Baba engaged in this activity with focused contemplation for a continuous period of fourteen days and nights. The text notes that as these two weeks of listening to the Ramayana were completed, the day of Vijayadashami arrived, and it was on this day that Baba attained the state of bodilessness, or passed away.
