What was Sai Baba's daily ritual involving the sacred ash, or Udi, as described in Chapter 33?

๐Ÿ“– Chapter 33

According to Chapter 33 of the Shri Sai Satcharita, Sai Baba had a consistent daily practice involving the sacred ash. He would purchase bundles of firewood and offer these logs into the sacred fire (Dhuni) that he kept constantly burning in the Masjid. The ash that remained from this fire was the Udi. Baba would then distribute this Udi to his devotees. This was not an occasional act; the text highlights it was a daily practice to give Udi to devotees, whether they were staying in Shirdi or asking for permission to return to their homes. No one was sent away empty-handed from his presence.
