What was Sai Baba's attitude toward worldly possessions and fame, and how did he live his daily life?

📖 Chapter 10

Sai Baba lived a life of extreme simplicity and detachment from worldly concerns. Chapter 10 explains that he had no desire for fame or wealth, choosing to beg only for the food necessary to sustain his life. He adopted the outward appearance of a Sanyasi, a renunciate, and always carried his Satka, or staff, which served as his symbolic scepter. Despite having ascended the "heights of Yoga," he chose to live in this humble manner, always absorbed in his posture and demonstrating his complete internal freedom from worldly desires.
