What was Sai Baba's advice regarding association with people of poor character?

Sai Baba gave very specific and strong advice about who to associate with. In Chapter 3, He is quoted as saying that those who have abandoned religious conduct should be abandoned themselves. He warned that one should move aside when such people approach and not even stay in their shadow, calling them "very dangerous." Baba explained that a person without conduct, whose character is fallen and actions are ruined, cannot distinguish the desirable from the undesirable and therefore cannot achieve their goals.
